World Record for Dr. Arvinder Singh of ARTH for Academic Excellence
A practising doctor from the Lake City has made it to the World Book of Records for holding the largest number of academic and non-academic degrees. Dr Arvinder Singh, CMD and CEO of Arth group has earned 123 degrees, diplomas and certificates, and was handed the certificate for this excellence at a ceremony in Indore on Monday.
Of the 123 degrees, diplomas and certificates Dr. Singh has earned, 77 are academic and 46 are non-academic. They are in diversified fields and were acquired between 1989 and 2022.
Dr Singh, who is physically challenged, had also earned the distinction of being the first Indian doctor to top IIM in 2009. He is said to be the first medical doctor, who, along with medical sciences, has mastered fields like management, law, cosmetology, cosmetic dermatology and digital marketing.
“When he was studying at IIM, he was offered an annual package of Rs 90 lakh from Scotland in 2008, but he rejected it and decided to work in India. Despite being physically challenged, he also achieved sporting excellence. He has won a gold medal in shooting and holds a scuba diving record,” said a representative of Dr. Singh’s.
Dr. Singh is Rajasthan’s first and only International Board-Certified Cosmetic Dermatologist and Aesthetic Physician who was recently honoured by CM Ashok Gehlot and the health minister for his remarkable work in the field of cosmetic dermatology. He practises in the fields of cosmetic dermatology, skin, fitness and pathology.
Dr. Singh has obtained diplomas and certificates from Oxford, American Association of Aesthetic Medicine, Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, International Academy of Sweden and Germany in cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic medicine, aesthetics and clinical cosmetology and medical LASER.
